Thank Your Cleaner Day in Austria

Thank Your Cleaner Day™

Powered by Kärcher

Cleaning is one of the most important industries in the world, yet most of the people undertaking this important work are invisible to you. Every day, tens of thousands of skilled, hard-working cleaning staff are onsite to ensure your premises are ready to go for the next business day. Cleaners work day, night and weekends to keep your working and living environments clean, safe and hygienic, often outside of normal working hours.

Thank Your Cleaner Day™ recognises the hard work cleaners do and lets them know they are valued and appreciated.
Companies around the world just like yours that are cleaned and maintained by cleaning contractors, will be supporting Thank Your Cleaner Day™.

Why not join them and take this opportunity to thank the cleaners who are looking after your premises. After all, we all like to feel valued and appreciated.

Quality Label "Attractive employer”

The "Kurier", a large daily newspaper in Austria, ranked Kärcher Austria as one of the 70 most attractive employers in 2020 already for the second time. The promotion of young talent also plays a major role for the company. In recent years, Kärcher Austria has been successfully training apprentices.

Cultural/Social Sponsoring

As part of its social commitment, Kärcher Austria supports the international SK Rapid Special Needs tournament (powered by Kärcher). This international soccer tournament for people with special needs and impairments (visual or hearing impairments, as well as mental or physical impairments) takes place annually. Kärcher Austria also supports the “SOS-Kinderdorf” (SOS Children's Villages), which is the largest non-governmental organisation focused on supporting children without parental care and families at risk. Kärcher Austria supports them with equipment donations and invites to regular events. Cultural Sponsoring also plays an important role. For many years, Kärcher has been supporting the Volksoper Vienna with equipment and a sponsorship contribution.

Providing Full service

The acquisition of the cleaning division of Walter Bösch GmbH & Co. KG in 2012, has enabled Kärcher Austria to further expand its market presence as a full-range supplier of cleaning equipment, cleaning and consumables as well as cleaning products in Austria. Bösch Reinigungssysteme GmbH was integrated into Kärcher in 2016.

Making people visible and appreciating them

The Thank Your Cleaner Day is being organized by Kärcher in Austria for the third time. The sales representatives of Alfred Kärcher GmbH will present a gift basket to nominated cleaners and say thank you.

"The 'Thank Your Cleaner Day' is intended for all those who often work outside business hours and therefore cannot be seen," explains Michael T. Grüssinger, Managing Director of Alfred Kärcher GmbH. "Every day, trained, hard-working cleaners make sure that the premises are ready for the next working day. The 'Thank Your Cleaner Day' is dedicated to professionals, to whom we can rely on every day. One special day to make them visible and honor them appropriately."
